Ferpher Farms Announces Tufts OLLI Microgreens Class for January 2027

We are delighted to announce that Ferpher Farms will present Microgreens: Small Plants, Big Science for Tufts University's Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI) as part of its Winter 2027 programming.

A closer look at small plants with big possibilities

Microgreens may be small, but they offer a fascinating window into plant science and home food growing. During this two-hour online class, we will explore how seeds germinate, what young plants need to thrive, the practical steps from sowing to harvest, and why microgreens have become popular in kitchens and educational settings.
