The Magic of Microgreens at Bok Tower Gardens

Discover the magic of microgreens with Ferpher Farms in this hands-on workshop designed for beginners, families, gardeners, and curious learners of all ages. Participants will learn what microgreens are, how they differ from sprouts and mature vegetables, why they are valued as nutrient-dense foods, and how they can be grown year-round in a small space. Christopher and Jennifer will guide participants through the basics of growing microgreens from seed to harvest, including seed selection, soil, watering, light, timing, harvesting, and simple ways to enjoy microgreens in everyday meals. The workshop will include a live growing demonstration, practical tips, and a take-home microgreens growing kit so participants can continue the experience after the class. This class is approachable, educational, and family-friendly. Children are welcome with adult participation, and the workshop is adaptable for adults, homeschool groups, garden clubs, or wellness-focused audiences. Capacity: 40 participants.
