Hands-on children's microgreens workshop by Ferpher Farms for ages 4 to 8 with adult participation. Each registered child receives a take-home growing kit. $42.50 for Bok Tower Gardens members and $60 for non-members, including Gardens admission. Registration is completed through Bok Tower Gardens.

About the event
Get ready to plant, learn, move and grow with Greenie Sprout™ at Bok Tower Gardens.
Designed especially for children ages 4 to 8 and their participating adults, Learn to Grow with Greenie™ turns learning about plants and food into a hands-on Greenieverse adventure. Instead of sitting through a traditional class, children become Junior Growers and work through interactive Grow Missions that encourage them to observe, move, explore, make choices and get their hands involved in the growing process.
Families will discover how tiny seeds become edible plants, explore what plants need to grow, learn how to care for microgreens and experience the sights, smells and textures of fresh microgreens. Children will personally plant their own microgreens during the workshop while their accompanying adult serves as their Grow Guide, helping when needed while allowing the child to take the lead.
